Quality Policy

We started POV Mounts because we'd bought what was already out there, and none of it was good enough to trust with a camera that often costs more than the helmet it's stuck to. So we built the mount we wished existed. Everything we do still comes back to that one promise.

The best mount is the one you forget is there, invisible on your helmet when you don't need it, and never once on your mind when you do.

For us, quality starts with the product itself. We make every mount by hand, here in Italy, scanning each helmet so the fit is exact and prepping every surface the tape touches so it holds like it should. And when we say a mount is durable, we've earned it: we've dragged helmets behind cars, dropped them off bridges, and crashed on them, so there's more than our word to trust.

The mount is only half of it, though. Buying from us and dealing with us should feel like talking to a friend who shares the same obsession with a clean, bulletproof setup: real people, honest answers, problems resolved quickly. No corporate script, no automated responses. If something's wrong, it's on us, and we make it right until you're genuinely happy.

We answer to a community of riders and creators who expect us to keep getting better. So we try to spot what they need before they ask, we change the design whenever we learn something new, and we hold ourselves to the stuff we can actually measure: whether it fits, whether it holds, how fast it ships, how quickly we sort a problem when one shows up. We look at all of it, constantly. The day we stop is the day we turn into a brand worth replacing.

Step 1

Before proceeding with the installation, check the placement of the mount by positioning it on the chin guard of your helmet, without removing the protective film. Position the mount so the "POV" logo is visibile from the right side of the helmet. Use the product photos on our website as a reference.

⚠️ Different sizes of the same helmet may result in some variations in position compared to the photos.
✅ Make sure that the chosen position allows the perfect adaptation of the 3M™ VHB™ adhesive.

Step 2

Carefully clean the surface of the helmet chosen for the mount. Use the two-step wipes kit included in the packaging.

⚠️ Dirt residues could compromise the adhesion of the mount to the helmet.
✅ Make sure to remove all traces of dirt.

Step 3

Remove the protective film from the 3M™ VHB™ adhesive. Heat the surface of the adhesive moderately with a heat gun or, alternatively, a hairdryer.

⚠️ Applying the adhesive while cold does not guarantee its perfect adaptation to the surface of the helmet.
✅ Heat the adhesive's surface moderately to soften it, obtaining an optimal fit with the chin guard of the helmet.

Step 4

Place the mount in the position chosen during Step 1. Once satisfied with the positioning, press firmly against the chin guard of the helmet for 1 minute.

⚠️ Once pressure has been applied, it will no longer be possible to reposition the mount.
✅ Place the mount lightly and, once satisfied with the position, apply pressure for 1 minute.

Step 5

Wait at least 24 hours before using the mount.

⚠️ Using the mount before the 24hrs period could compromise its adhesion to the helmet.
✅ Allow the adhesive to complete its setting time. You can regularly use your helmet during the 24 hour period without attaching your action camera.
