How it works
Five quick steps to install your mount.
1. Test the fit
With the protective film still on, test-fit the mount on your chin guard. Make sure the POV logo faces the right side of your helmet. Use our product photos for reference.
2. Clean the area
Clean the chosen area with the two-step wipes kit included in the box. Any trace of dirt will weaken the bond, so make sure the surface is spotless.
3. Warm the tape
Peel off the protective film and warm the 3M™ adhesive to 45–50°C with a heat gun or hairdryer. Applied cold, it won't fully adapt to the chin guard.
4. Place the mount
Lightly rest the mount in the position from Step 1. Once you're happy, press firmly against the chin guard for one minute — after that, it won't move.
5. Wait 24 hours
Leave the adhesive at least 24hrs to set before attaching accessories. You can wear the helmet in the meantime, but keep your camera off until then.

Every mount is designed from a 3D scan of your exact helmet model, from full-face and modular to adventure, motocross, MTB and more. It fits perfectly without blocking air vents, flip-up mechanisms or anything else your helmet needs to work.
Yes. Most 360 cameras have a 1/4" thread on the bottom, so make sure to add the Capture Pack to your setup. It includes all the adaptors you need.
Very durable. It’s made to handle high speeds, off-road vibration, rain and heat. Each mount is treated with 3M Primer 94 and bonded with industrial-grade 3M VHB tape, so it stays put in any conditions.
No damage. We use acrylic-based 3M VHB tape, which leaves no residue on your helmet. To remove it, gently warm up the tape and peel it off slowly. The shell stays clean and unmarked.
